China’s stocks hit a six-year closing low, with the Shanghai Composite Index falling 0.5% to 3,374.93. The Shenzhen Component Index lost 1.3% to 13,362.47. This decline came after a report of China aiming for slower credit growth. The yuan strengthened against the dollar, closing at 6.4581.
