Private equity firm Insight Partners is close to finalizing a $10 billion-plus fund, half of the original target. The fund is expected to be closer to $12 billion and will officially close early next year. Insight is selling over $1 billion in stakes in start-ups, including cybersecurity firm Wiz.

Insight Partners is utilizing a private equity-style structure to free up cash for investors, including selling stakes in start-ups like cybersecurity firm Wiz. The firm previously raised $20 billion for its 12th flagship fund in 2022, with a focus on software and technology investments. Insight did not respond to requests for comment.
