Hong Kong stocks fell after disappointing economic data from China. The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.8% to close at 27,787. The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.1% to end at 3,482.Industrial production grew by only 6.4% in August, missing expectations. Fixed asset investment also fell short of forecasts, up 8.9% for the year.
