Bank of America has hired former Citigroup Chief Accounting Officer Johnbull Okpara to fill the same role after his recent resignation from Citi. He will replace long-serving BofA accounting chief Rudolf Bless and work alongside him during a transition period into 2025. Okpara brings over 30 years of experience to the role, holding senior positions at Morgan Stanley, American Express, and Ernst & Young before joining Citi. Okpara will report to BofA CFO Alastair Borthwick.
