BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), Microsoft, and MGX have formed the GAIIP partnership to invest in new and expanded data centers. NVIDIA will contribute its expertise in AI to support the partnership, aiming to unlock $30 billion in private equity capital initially and potentially mobilizing up to $100 billion in total investment. MGX, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, focuses on investing in AI and advanced technologies.
