Bitcoin whale accumulates $770.49 million worth of BTC in 24 hours

An unidentified Bitcoin whale has significantly increased their holdings, accumulating 12,131 BTC worth a staggering $770.49 million in just 24 hours. The whale initially received 16.87 BTC equal to $1.01 million two weeks ago and continued to add to their stash, with funds originating from another unknown address “bc1qcacv.” The total worth of their holdings now exceeds $770 million.

Interestingly, the address that sent funds to the whale also holds 11,477 BTC valued at $728.92 million. The source of these funds is suspected to be connected to Fortress Trust, a crypto custodian and trustee, although ownership remains unconfirmed. The whale’s total holdings could exceed $1.5 billion, possibly belonging to a client of the trustee company.
