Legendary quarterback Tom Brady is selling his valuable watch collection through Sotheby’s this December. The watches, with prices ranging from $12,000 to $800,000, include brands like Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and IWC. Brady’s passion for timepieces began in high school, and his collection really took off after his first Super Bowl win in 2002.

Highlights of the sale include a diamond-set Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet and a Richard Mille 35-03 “Baby Nadal” watch. Other lots feature a rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus and an IWC Pilot’s Watch Top Gun edition he wore during his Super Bowl Championship parade in 2021. Sotheby’s expects the items to be a part of sports history.

Demand for luxury watches surged during the Covid-19 pandemic, but prices have since decreased dramatically. EveryWatch reported total sales of $493 million in 2024, marking a 6% increase from the previous year. Auction houses have increased their watch lots by 50% as they invest more in this market, according to EveryWatch.
