Asian stocks are on the rise after Wall Street’s tech sector boost yesterday. Leading the gains were Japan’s Nikkei and South Korea’s Kospi. Fresh records were touched by the S&P 500 and Nasdaq. The dollar advanced slightly against the yen, while the yield on 10-year Treasuries hovered around 1.6%. Oil prices also climbed higher as Brent crude settled above $75 per barrel for the first time in two years. Investors are expected to keep an eye on the Fed’s upcoming tapering plans amid rising inflation concerns.
