Major sports leagues, including the NBA, MLB, and NFL, are teaming up to combat antisemitism with a new ad campaign titled “Time Out Against Hate.” The initiative comes after a report by the Anti-Defamation League revealed over 10,000 antisemitic incidents in the U.S. since a 2023 terrorist attack in Israel. Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism is behind the effort.

The star-studded ad features names like Shaquille O’Neal and Billie Jean King and will premiere during Amazon’s Thursday Night Football. The campaign aims to spread awareness and promote unity against hate. Robert Kraft, the founder of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, emphasized the importance of standing against prejudice and fostering empathy and respect in communities.

Robert Kraft founded the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism in 2019 to address the escalating hate towards Jewish people in the U.S. Kraft has been vocal about his stance on antisemitism, cutting ties with Columbia University over their handling of anti-Israel protests and making a generous donation to Yeshiva University to support Jewish students seeking to transfer.
