NVIDIA contributes design elements of the NVIDIA Blackwell accelerated computing platform to the Open Compute Project and expands NVIDIA Spectrum-X support for OCP standards. This includes the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 system design shared at this year’s OCP Global Summit, aiming to enhance compute density and networking bandwidth for AI applications.

The NVIDIA GB200 NVL72, based on the NVIDIA MGX modular architecture, features 36 NVIDIA Grace CPUs and 72 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, delivering high-speed and efficient AI processing capabilities in a liquid-cooled rack-scale design. Additionally, the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform, now with the NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNIC, supports OCP standards for improved AI infrastructure performance.

NVIDIA’s contributions aim to advance accelerated computing for the next industrial revolution by simplifying the development process of AI infrastructure. Working with global electronics manufacturers and partners like Meta, NVIDIA’s open computing standards provide flexible options for high compute density systems and address the growing demands of data centers for performance and energy efficiency.
