Sebastien Bubeck, head of Microsoft’s GenAI team, is leaving to join OpenAI. Bubeck played a key role in advancing AI technology at Microsoft. His departure comes as OpenAI plans to expand its team and research efforts. Bubeck brings valuable experience in AI research and development to OpenAI. Microsoft has not yet announced a replacement for Bubeck.
