Manufacturers and service providers in India are embracing NVIDIA Omniverse for simulation, digital twins, and generative AI to enhance factory planning and automation. India’s exports are predicted to reach $1 trillion by 2028, driven by sectors like automotive, industrial machinery, and electronics. AI adoption in manufacturing is on the rise to meet global demands. The NVIDIA AI Summit India showcased Ola Electric, Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra, and TCS utilizing Omniverse for industrial AI applications and virtual facilities.

Ola Electric has accelerated electric scooter production by developing the Ola Digital Twin platform on NVIDIA Omniverse. The platform has enabled Ola to achieve a 20% faster time to market for manufacturing operations. Utilizing NVIDIA Isaac Sim and core Omniverse technologies, Ola is building its Future Factory in India to streamline production processes and enhance safety measures. The digital twin platform is also used for predictive maintenance and quality inspection.

Reliance Industries is leveraging Omniverse for planning its new solar panel factory in Jamnagar, India, as part of its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon status by 2035. The 5,000-acre integrated photovoltaic manufacturing plant is set to be India’s largest solar gigafactory. Omniverse is being used for developing virtual factory assets, simulations, and workforce training for enhanced operations and sustainability.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Tech Mahindra are playing key roles in helping India’s manufacturers adopt industrial AI by developing digital twin solutions on NVIDIA Omniverse. TCS is creating virtual factories for real-time monitoring and immersive training, while Tech Mahindra is establishing a center of excellence for advances in sovereign LLM frameworks and physical AI applications across various sectors. System integrators like Wipro and Infosys are also expanding into physical AI with the NVIDIA AI stack and Omniverse.
