A $2 billion development at Bahia Mar marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, led by Related Group, aims to create a “mini Monaco” with a hotel, condo towers, beach club, restaurants, and retail space. The project, spanning 40 acres, will include a St. Regis hotel replacing the DoubleTree. Renderings show a luxurious waterfront destination.

Fort Lauderdale’s Bahia Mar marina, previously subject to failed redevelopment attempts, will now be transformed by Related Group, Tate Capital, and Rok Acquisitions. Plans include residential units, a hotel, commercial space, a public park, and a pedestrian promenade. The project will cater to a global clientele, especially yacht owners and boating enthusiasts.

The new development at Bahia Mar marina in Fort Lauderdale will offer 88,000 square feet of waterfront commercial space, with amenities like boat docking, a public park, and a pedestrian promenade. With slips for yachts up to 350 feet, the project aims to attract a diverse clientele, including overseas visitors attending the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Scheduled to open in late 2029, the Bahia Mar marina development in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury residences starting at $4.4 million. The project, marketed by Douglas Elliman, promises a unique lifestyle experience with a mix of residential, hotel, dining, and boating amenities on the waterfront.
