BILL Holdings Q1 Earnings Beat Estimates, Revenues Increase Y/Y

BILL Holdings reported earnings of 63 cents per share in the first quarter of fiscal 2025, beating estimates by 28.57% and increasing 43.2% year over year. Revenues of $358.5 million grew 17.5% and surpassed expectations by 3.01%. The company processed $79.9 billion in total payment volume.

In the same quarter, BILL Holdings processed 29 million transactions, a 16% increase year over year. Despite a 6.4% year-to-date share decline, the stock rose 1.82% in pre-market trading due to accelerated core revenue growth.

BILL Holdings’ core revenues in the first quarter were $314.9 million, with subscription fees up 8% and transaction fees up 22.1%. Revenues from Integrated Platform were $294.9 million, contributing 93.6% to core revenues.

Non-GAAP gross profit for BILL Holdings was $307 million, up 16.9% year over year. The company reported a non-GAAP operating income of $67.1 million, a 100.9% increase year over year.

As of September 30, 2024, BILL Holdings had cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments totaling $1.47 billion. Cash flow from operations in the first quarter of fiscal 2025 was $88.6 million.

For the second quarter of fiscal 2025, BILL Holdings expects revenues between $355.5 million and $360.5 million, with non-GAAP earnings per share projected between 44 cents and 48 cents. For fiscal 2025, revenues are estimated between $1.44 billion and $1.46 billion.
