Meta Platforms is set to introduce ads on its Threads app in January, aiming to attract advertisers from Twitter under Elon Musk’s ownership. The app has 275 million monthly active users, showing rapid growth. CFO Susan Li does not expect Threads to drive significant revenue in 2025 but plans to add more features. Musk’s X has faced ad revenue slumps after a boycott lawsuit.
