NVIDIA unveils AI and supercomputing tools at SC24 to revolutionize industries like biopharma and climate science. Founder and CEO Jensen Huang highlights the company’s transformative role in accelerated computing, with milestones like Tsubame and Titan supercomputers. NVIDIA’s advancements include tools for drug discovery, climate forecasting, and quantum simulations.

At SC24, NVIDIA announces the cuPyNumeric library, accelerating applications in data science and machine learning. With over 400 CUDA-X libraries, including cuDNN and cuQuantum, NVIDIA continues to enhance computing capabilities. The company also introduces the Omniverse Blueprint for real-time digital twins in industries like aerospace and automotive.

NVIDIA partners with Google to power detailed dynamical simulations of quantum processors with CUDA-Q. The company also releases the BioNeMo Framework for AI-driven drug discovery, DiffDock 2.0 for predicting drug-protein binding, and ALCHEMI NIM for generative AI in chemistry. These innovations enable faster solutions to global challenges.

New microservices, CorrDiff NIM and FourCastNet NIM, accelerate climate change modeling in the NVIDIA Earth-2 platform. These tools deliver higher-resolution and more accurate predictions for extreme weather events. NVIDIA’s commitment to leveraging AI for societal resilience and climate preparedness addresses a growing need for precise, real-time climate forecasting.

NVIDIA scales production through a collaboration with Foxconn to meet the demand for AI systems like the Blackwell supercomputer. The company also announces the general availability of the NVIDIA H200 NVL, optimized for low-power, air-cooled data centers. The GB200 Grace Blackwell NVL4 Superchip provides up to 2x performance for scientific computing applications.
