Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, is using NVIDIA Omniverse to meet demand for Blackwell. The platform helps bring facilities in the U.S., Mexico, and Taiwan online faster, with significant cost savings and a 30% reduction in kilowatt-hour usage expected at the Mexico facility alone.

Factory planners at Foxconn are using physical AI-powered robotic factories with Omniverse and NVIDIA AI to build digital twins. This allows for virtual integration of facility and equipment layouts, optimization of floor plans, and streamlining operations with Metropolis vision AI agents, potentially saving millions in costly change orders.

Foxconn’s fleets of autonomous robots, including industrial manipulators and autonomous mobile robots, are being developed and tested using the digital twin in Omniverse. Simulation and validation of AI robot models in NVIDIA Isaac Sim before deployment to real-world robots offer efficiencies in assembly line operations and intelligent camera placement.

Using NVIDIA Omniverse and AI, Foxconn plans to replicate its precision production lines globally, enhancing its competitive edge and adaptability in the market. Rapid replication will accelerate global deployments and enhance resilience in the supply chain, with Mexico and Taiwan facilities set to begin production soon.
