Taiwan stocks closed lower, with declines in tech and healthcare sectors. TAIEX dropped 0.86% to reach a 1-month low. Top gainers were Arima Communications Corp, Compucase Enterprise Co Ltd, and Lien Chang Electronic Enterprise Co Ltd. HiTi Digital Inc, Logah Technology Corp, and Lead Data Inc were the biggest losers. Arima Communications Corp hit a 3-year high with a 350.24% increase. Crude oil and gold prices rose slightly while the US Dollar Index Futures edged up.
