NVIDIA Announces Financial Results for Third Quarter Fiscal

NVIDIA reported record quarterly revenue of $35.1 billion, up 17% from Q2 and 94% from a year ago. Data Center revenue was $30.8 billion, up 17% from Q2 and 112% from a year ago. In Q3 of fiscal 2025, NVIDIA saw revenue of $35.1 billion, up 17% from last quarter and 94% from a year ago. GAAP earnings per diluted share was $0.78, up 16% from last quarter and 111% from a year ago. NVIDIA will pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share on December 27, 2024.
NVIDIA’s outlook for Q4 fiscal 2025 includes an expected revenue of $37.5 billion. GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins are expected to be 73.0% and 73.5%, respectively. Operating expenses are projected at $4.8 billion for GAAP and $3.4 billion for non-GAAP. Other income and expense are anticipated to be approximately $400 million.
In the third quarter, NVIDIA achieved record Data Center revenue of $30.8 billion, launched Denmark’s largest AI supercomputer, and introduced the NVIDIA AI Aerial platform for telecommunications providers. Gaming revenue was $3.3 billion, with 25th-anniversary celebrations for GeForce 256 and the introduction of 20 new GeForce RTX and DLSS titles.
Profession Visualization revenue in Q3 was $486 million, up 7% from the previous quarter and 17% from a year ago. NVIDIA announced partnerships with Foxconn and industrial manufacturers in India and Japan to automate workflows with AI and Omniverse. The Automotive segment saw revenue of $449 million, up 30% from the previous quarter and 72% from a year ago.
NVIDIA’s CFO, Colette Kress, provided commentary on the quarter, available on NVIDIA’s investor relations website. The company uses non-GAAP financial measures to enhance understanding of its historical performance. NVIDIA’s non-GAAP net income for Q3 was $20.01 billion, with diluted earnings per share of $0.81.
