Boeing issued lay off notices to 692 workers in Missouri, part of its plan to cut 17,000 jobs globally. The company also sent notices to 3,100 U.S. workers in Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, and Missouri. Washington and South Carolina workers were hit the hardest, with 2,200 and 220 layoff notices respectively.
