Automakers such as Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Mazda have significant manufacturing presence in Mexico, exporting vehicles to the U.S. market.
German automakers like Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW also have large manufacturing facilities in Mexico, with a substantial portion of their output destined for the U.S. market.
Tesla encouraged its Chinese suppliers to establish plants in Mexico to support its Gigafactory, while Chinese automakers and suppliers like BYD and JAC Motors have also invested in Mexican operations.
