In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Apple topped the list of the day’s best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 1.8%. Year to date, Apple registers a 48.4% gain.

And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is PayPal Holdings, trading down 2.7%. PayPal Holdings is lower by about 18.2% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Lam Research, trading down 2.5%, and NVIDIA, trading up 1.2% on the day.
