Germany stocks, including DAX, rose 1.04% at close of trade

Germany stocks closed higher on Friday, with gains in various sectors leading the way. The DAX rose 1.04%, the MDAX added 0.28%, and the TecDAX gained 0.94%. Top performers included Infineon Technologies, MTU Aero Engines, and Deutsche Bank, while Sartorius AG, Brenntag AG, and Beiersdorf AG were among the worst performers.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with 339 stocks rising, 294 falling, and 25 unchanged. MTU Aero Engines hit all-time highs, while Hugo Boss AG and Bechtle AG fell to 3-year lows. The VDAX, measuring DAX options volatility, dropped to a new 1-month low.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures rose 0.74% to $2,684.61 per troy ounce, while Crude oil for January delivery inched up to $68.73 a barrel. The EUR/USD and EUR/GBP pairs remained relatively stable, while the US Dollar Index Futures dipped slightly to 106.02.
