Amazon (AMZN) beats Q3 earnings expectations with strong cloud computing and ad performance

Amazon (AMZN) exceeded expectations with its third-quarter earnings and revenue, fueled by strong performance in cloud computing and advertising sectors.

The company reported a revenue of $110.8 billion, surpassing analysts’ estimates of $108.6 billion for the quarter.

Amazon’s cloud computing division, Amazon Web Services (AWS), also saw a 39% increase in revenue to $16.1 billion.

The e-commerce giant’s advertising business generated $8.8 billion in revenue, marking a 45% increase from the same period last year.
