Finland stocks closed higher with OMX Helsinki 25 rising by 0.75%

Finland stocks closed higher on Monday, with gains in various sectors. The OMX Helsinki 25 rose by 0.75%. Top performers included Metsa Board Oyj B, Cargotec Oyj, and UPM-Kymmene Oyj, while Kojamo, Orion Oyj B, and Nokian Renkaat Oyj were among the worst performers.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Nokian Renkaat Oyj shares hit a 52-week low. Brent oil for February delivery was down to $71.58 a barrel, while Crude oil for January delivery fell to $67.75 a barrel. Gold futures for February also declined.

In currency trading, EUR/USD was down to 1.05, while EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.83. The US Dollar Index Futures rose to 106.47.
