PTC, Microsoft, and Volkswagen partner to develop generative AI copilot for software development

PTC has partnered with Microsoft and Volkswagen Group to create a generative AI copilot, Codebeamer Copilot, based on the PTC Codebeamer solution. This tool will aid software development in physical products and is set to launch as a beta for select customers in early 2025.

Volkswagen Group’s previous use of Codebeamer led to this collaboration, with Microsoft’s Azure AI capabilities enhancing the value of Codebeamer. The partnership aims to streamline software development processes across various projects.
