U.S. stock index futures remained stable as investors awaited key inflation data and monitored heightened geopolitical tensions in Syria. The NASDAQ futures held at 6,098.25 points, while the S&P 500 and Dow futures were flat at 21,651.75 and 44,700 points respectively.

Investors are focused on the upcoming CPI data for more insight into interest rates. The data is expected to show a 2.7% year-on-year increase in the headline figure through November. Core CPI inflation is also anticipated to remain steady, impacting the Federal Reserve’s rate cut decisions.

Wall Street reached record highs on Friday, with technology stocks driving the gains despite strong payrolls data. The NASDAQ rose 0.3% to 6,090.27 points, while the S&P 500 climbed 0.8% to 19,859.77 points. Markets are also monitoring President-elect Donald Trump’s policies for future implications.
