Starbucks China appoints its first Chief Growth Officer, Tony Yang, former partner and president of Tezign. Recent management reshuffle sees Molly Liu become sole CEO, with Belinda Wong remaining as chairwoman. Facing stiff competition from local brands like Luckin, Starbucks China reports a 14% decline in comparable store sales for fiscal year ending Sept. 29. China, Starbucks’ second-largest market after the U.S., has 7,596 stores as of September.
