FTSE 100 down 0.2% as pound rises, Bank of England meeting ahead

U.K. stocks dipped while the pound rose ahead of flash PMI data. The Bank of England is set to meet on Dec. 19 with no expected interest rate changes. The FTSE 100 was down 0.2% at 8,285 after a 0.1% drop on Friday. Entain, owner of Ladbrokes, saw a 5% drop due to civil penalty proceedings in Australia. Meanwhile, Ricardo gained 1% after acquiring 85% of E3 Advisory for approximately A$101.4 million.
