The U.S. Transportation Department awarded five new daily round-trip flights from Washington Reagan National airport to major airlines. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Alaska Airlines will all receive new flights mandated by legislation signed by President Joe Biden. Flights are expected to start within 90 days.
