U.K. stocks fell sharply after the U.S. Federal Reserve cut rates and projected two more cuts in 2025. Investors await the Bank of England’s decision on rates, expected to remain at 4.75 percent due to high wage growth and inflation above 2 percent. The FTSE 100 dropped 1.10 percent to 8,109 points. Serco Group shares surged 7 percent as the outsourcing company forecast full-year revenue of £4.8bn, in line with previous guidance.
