The China stock market fell slightly on Thursday, with the Shanghai Composite Index closing just above 3,370 points. Concerns over interest rates globally are impacting Asian markets, following mixed performances in Europe and the U.S. The SCI dropped 0.36 percent, led by losses in financial, property, and energy sectors. Despite an initial rise on Wall Street, major indexes ended flat after the Federal Reserve’s decision on interest rates. Positive economic data tempered expectations for further rate cuts, driving oil futures down by nearly 1 percent to $69.91 a barrel.
