Israel stocks closed higher, TA 35 index up 1.09%; Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd led gains

Israel stocks closed higher on Sunday, with the Tel Aviv index rising by 1.09% to a new all-time high. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd led the gains, rising by 4.77%, while Camtek Ltd was among the worst performers, falling by 2.01%. Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones, with 316 gaining, 149 declining, and 72 unchanged.

Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Big Shopping Centers Ltd, and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd all reached new highs. Crude oil prices rose slightly, with February delivery up to $69.46 a barrel, while gold futures saw a 1.42% increase to $2,645.10 a troy ounce. The USD/ILS exchange rate remained steady at 3.64, while the EUR/ILS rose by 0.53% to 3.80. The US Dollar Index Futures dropped by 0.74% to 107.35.
