The global forecast for Asian markets is cautiously optimistic due to an improved interest rate outlook. On Friday, the Nikkei 225 finished lower, led by losses in financial shares. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 rallied on Wall Street, with the Dow gaining over 1 percent. Oil futures settled higher on Friday after softer-than-expected PCE readings. West Texas Intermediate Crude oil futures ended at $69.46 a barrel, up 0.1 percent.
