Amidst challenges from Tesla and Chinese rivals, Honda and Nissan are exploring ways to strengthen their partnership, including a joint holding company and collaboration on hybrid vehicles and car assembly. Nissan’s plan to cut jobs and production capacity follows a sales decline in key markets like China and the U.S.
