Malaysia stock market fell on Friday, but may bounce back on Monday

The Malaysia stock market ended a two-day winning streak, with the KLCI falling 0.54% on Friday. Axiata plunged 2.90%, while Petronas Dagangan plummeted 4.23%. The global forecast for Asian markets is cautiously optimistic. On Wall Street, the Dow rallied 1.18%, the NASDAQ jumped 1.03%, and the S&P 500 gained 1.09%. For the week, the Dow plunged 2.3%, the S&P 500 tumbled 2.0%, and the NASDAQ slumped 1.8%. Oil futures settled higher, with West Texas Intermediate Crude oil at $69.46 a barrel after shedding 2.5% for the week.
