The Taiwan stock market has dropped over 650 points in the past two sessions, closing just above 22,510 points. Global markets are cautiously optimistic due to improved interest rate outlooks. On Friday, the TSE fell sharply, particularly in financial, technology, plastics, and cement sectors. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all finished higher last week despite opening lower. Oil futures rose slightly on Friday due to a weaker dollar. Taiwan will release industrial production and unemployment figures today. In October, industrial output was up 8.85%, with a jobless rate of 3.38%.
