Israel stocks closed lower with losses in various sectors. The TA-35 index dropped by 0.36% at the close in Tel Aviv. Top performers included Ormat Technologies, rising by 2.00%, while the worst performers were Shapir Engineering Industry, falling by 2.54%.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Crude oil for February delivery was down to $70.10 a barrel, while Brent oil for March delivery rose to $73.22 a barrel. Gold Futures contract remained unchanged at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS exchange rate was stable at 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose to 3.80. The US Dollar Index Futures increased by 0.18% to 108.00.
