Taiwan stocks closed higher, with the Taiex up 0.43%. Jenn Feng New Energy Co Ltd led gains, rising 70.12%, while Shin Tai Industry Co Ltd dropped 6.19%. Crude oil prices rose slightly, with February delivery at $70.18 a barrel. USD/TWD was up 0.20% at 32.74, while the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.08%.
