Voltalia secures new solar project in Tunisia, saving CO2 and providing energy for 620,000 people

Voltalia, a renewable energy company, secures a new 139-megawatt solar project in Menzel Habib, Tunisia. The project will produce energy for over 620,000 people and save 360,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. Construction starts in late 2025, with completion set for 2027, under a 25-year electricity sales contract. The project is located near another Voltalia project, reducing costs. CEO Sébastien Clerc praises the team’s efforts. Voltalia has 3.1 GW of capacity and 17.2 GW in development globally, offering renewable energy solutions and services to businesses.
