Greenridge Exploration Inc. and ALX Resources Corp. have completed a merger, creating a leading Canadian explorer of strategic metals. The combined entity owns interests in 28 projects covering 388,040 hectares, with exposure to uranium, lithium, nickel, copper, and gold discoveries. Greenridge now has one of the largest uranium property holdings in the world-class Athabasca Basin. The new entity has a market capitalization of around C$41 million and plans to advance key projects with partners like Denison Mines Corp. and Uranium Energy Corp.
The Transaction involved Greenridge acquiring all outstanding common shares of ALX in exchange for 11,226,143 common shares of Greenridge. This acquisition establishes Greenridge as a leading Canadian uranium exploration company with a diversified portfolio across renowned Canadian uranium districts. ALX’s Chief Executive Officer, Warren Stanyer, has joined the board of directors of Greenridge as President. The delisting of ALX shares from the TSX Venture Exchange is expected after December 31, 2024.
