FLock.io has officially launched its mainnet on Base, coinciding with the Token Generation Event for its utility token, FLOCK. Participants can earn FLOCK by engaging in decentralized AI training through the platform, fostering collaboration among data providers, training nodes, and compute providers. The platform has gained traction with nearly 20,000 AI models created to date.

CEO Jiahao Sun stated that the mainnet launch and TGE mark significant progress for FLock.io, giving users the tools to create privacy-first AI models. Since its founding in 2022, FLock.io has raised $6 million in seed funding, launched an incentivized testnet, and secured strategic funding led by DCG. The platform aims to shift toward privacy-preserving, community-driven AI development.

FLock.io’s platform ensures data ownership and community engagement through on-chain rewards, with over 30 advanced models processed and partnerships with industry leaders like Morpheus and Aptos. As the only AI infrastructure project to receive the Foundation Academic Grant in 2024, FLock.io is paving the way for privacy-focused, community-driven AI development.
