U.S. District Judge John Chun cleared the way for Zulily to bring claims alleging Amazon’s “anti-competitive” business practices. Retail sentiment stayed bullish as Amazon’s shares were up 0.38% on Thursday. Zulily’s lawsuit focuses on Amazon’s alleged “anti-discounting” practices that limit other retailers from offering lower prices. Tigress Financial analyst Ivan Feinseth raised Amazon’s price target to $290 from $245 with a Buy rating, citing strong retail trends and fulfillment capabilities. Amazon also faces a class action lawsuit for allegedly violating federal law by using $350 million in forfeited 401(k) funds. Amazon shares are down 1% year-to-date.
