Taiwan stocks closed lower with the Taiex falling by 0.88%. Fortune Oriental Co Ltd, AzureWave Technologies Inc, and Anji Technology Co Ltd were the top performers, while EZconn Corp, Hiwin Technologies Corp, and Chung Fu Tex-International Corp were the worst. AzureWave Technologies Inc reached a 5-year high. Crude oil prices slightly increased, with USD/TWD up 0.06%.
