RTX Corp. announced that Raytheon has secured a $946 million contract to provide Romania with additional Patriot air and missile defense systems. The deal includes fire units with radars, control stations, and missiles. Raytheon will collaborate with Romanian defense companies as part of its global supply chain network for Patriot systems. The Patriot defense capability is designed to protect against various threats, including long-range cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles.
