Taiwan stocks rose, with General Interface Solution GIS Holding Ltd leading gains. Loop Telecommunication International Inc was the worst performer. Cosmo Electronics Corp hit all-time highs, but United Renewable Energy Co Ltd hit 3-year lows. Crude oil prices increased, while gold prices fell. USD/TWD rose to 32.87, while TWD/CNY remained unchanged at 0.22.
