Shares in US wind energy companies, including GE Vernova, dropped in premarket trading after President-elect Donald Trump expressed opposition to new windmill construction in the US. TPI Composites and American Superconductor Group also saw premarket losses. Analyst Adam Crisafulli noted the market’s negative reaction to Trump’s stance on wind energy.
