Australia stocks closed lower on Monday, with the ASX 200 down 1.23%. Top gainers included Nanosonics Ltd and Gold Road Resources Ltd, while Premier Investments Ltd and St Barbara Ltd were among the biggest losers. Gold Road Resources Ltd hit all time highs. The VIX was up 10.13% to 12.28. Gold futures fell to $2,711.82. Crude oil rose to $77.05 a barrel. AUD/USD was unchanged at 0.61, while AUD/JPY fell to 96.53. US Dollar Index Futures rose to 109.75.
