In 2024, the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs was a significant milestone in the ETF industry, with the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) alone amassing over $53 billion in assets. The market could see further growth and innovation in this space with a crypto-friendly administration.

Private assets are growing rapidly, and major asset managers are working to bring them to retail investors. The approval of ETF share classes of mutual funds could drive flows into ETFs, which are becoming the preferred investment vehicle for many due to their tax efficiency and low costs.
