Plug Power Inc. secured a $1.66 billion loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office to support the construction of up to six projects for domestic hydrogen production. The first beneficiary of this financing is Plug’s green hydrogen plant in Graham, Texas, which will create hundreds of high-quality jobs. This initiative aligns with national security interests and strengthens America’s energy independence. Plug’s current hydrogen generation network has a liquid hydrogen production capacity of approximately 45 tons per day, supporting the company’s goal of building a green hydrogen ecosystem.
